‘Furniture Row’ Building Leased

City Bed, Inc., a mattress retailer, joined Oakland Park’s furniture row this week after signing a new lease at the former City Furniture building at 3831 North Federal Highway.

Morgan Real Estate, Inc. represented the owner, 3831 North Federal LLC, in the lease transaction and Bill Rotella of The Rotella Group represented the tenant, City Bed, Inc. City Bed, Inc. plans to open their store to the public on or before July 1, 2003. The building, which is 10,540 square feet, was recently vacated by City Furniture last November when they relocated to their new building to the south along Federal Highway.

“We are excited that we have found a strong tenant to occupy this prominent building along Furniture Row,” said Trey Morgan, Vice-President of Morgan Real Estate, Inc. “Both the owner and the tenant were able to win in this deal.”
